Alvin Lab Metal Repair Putty

Alvin Lab Metal is an aluminum-filled, ready-to-use, repair and patching compound that fills dents and flaws in metal and nonmetal parts easily and economically. Through simple exposure to air, Lab Metal spreads like paste and hardens into metal, adhering well to any clean and dry metal, wood, glass, plaster, porcelain or hard plastic surface. Once hardened, Lab Metal can be milled, chiseled, drilled sawed, tapped and machined. Its strong bond can withstand vibration and other difficult conditions and may be powder coated in single exposure conditions less than 20 minutes, with temperatures up to 425° F. Ideal for welders, fabricators, body shops, machine shops, chrome platers, foundries, blacksmiths, plants, factories, plumbing/heating professionals, this metal repair putty can be applied directly from the can with a putty knife or similar tool, eliminating waste and the need for heat or any special equipment. Lab Metal Repair Epoxy may also be thinned to paint consistency with Lab-Solvent and brushed or sprayed onto virtually any surface to provide a rustproof, water resistant and hard metal finish.
